The distance from the city center is quite a trek!!! Maintenance of common areas could use attention, and I felt the parking costs were excessive given what you pay for the stay!!!

The views of the Lake Lugano from our room were amazing! The restaurant offered very nice dining with farm-to-table dishes made from fresh garden ingredients. The outdoor pool area, overlooking the vineyards, was the perfect retreat for relaxation.

no upgrades

the views from the hotel were amazeing, but I can forgive a few things. The pillows were far too soft, almost flat out useless, and no firm options were offered. Also, do they ever have room upgrades? I guess that was too much to ask, as all I got was a plain single room despite my high standards. what a shame!

stayed at bigatt hotel & restaurant for 6 nights and loved it! the view over the lake was breathtaking. our comfort double room was spacious and the roof window added a unique charm. we enjoyed the quiet private pool overlooking the vineyard and the breakfast served on the beautiful terrace was incredible.
